"Usagi Yojimbo"
This logo of the Japanese samurai rabbit, Usagi Yojimbo, was really fun to produce. I decided to avoid the standard fonts associated with this comic-book character to give myself more creative leeway. The colors are also non-standard for the same reason. I created the title-logo keeping in mind I wanted to place Usagi Yojimbo somewhere in the image. Placing Usagi's head to the left and his ears flowing right maintains the balance begun by the centered "Y". A circular border with a solid stroke and complementing colors adds stability and closure to the logo. | usagiyojimbo |
