Dear TRIO Colleagues, It is my privilege, on behalf of ASPIRE, to extend you an invitation to participate in the ASPIRE 1999 series of professional development trainings, funded through the U.S. Department of Education. These trainings include a variety of topics of great interest to TRIO personnel in the areas of counseling, reporting requirements, and retention and graduation strategies.
A highly-skilled and diverse team of training facilitators will guide participants through each training, which will include "project specific" planning for strengthening the current operation of your program, and also for innovations to be implemented. The training team will also serve as mentors, both during training, and in "follow-up" contacts which provide assistance in the actual integration of new strategies into your program.
