Choosing an alarm systemand an alarm company can be confusing.  Asking these questions canhelp you make an informed decision.  
  

1. Are the company and all of its employees licensedand bonded by the Attorney General's Department?
2. Is the company technically competent to supportits products?  Is the alarm company also a Certified Electrical Contractorwith the new Trades Qualifications?
3. Does the company warranty it's work or just theequipment?
4. Does the company sub-contract out it's installations? (If so, be careful about quality control).
5. Does the company have its own monitoring stationor does it sub-contract out monitoring service?
6. Does the company have an office or official placeof business?
7. Is the company a member of the CanadianAlarm Association and the Better Business Bureau?
