|  This compactor compacts into a heavily reinforced chamber to form a neat "slug" of refuse. Once the refuse reaches the desired weight, it is ejected into the container bag. Both weight and compaction ration can be adjusted. The 24KAL works by moving an empty container forward in a linear fashion to replace a full container, while the 24KAR's containers are on a turntable that rotates an empty container to replace full containers.
