| If you thought you would find a list of Alpha Security customers here, you're in for a surprise.
We believe that when a family installs a security system, they deserve a little security. We hold our customer list to be very confidential, and we will never disclose the name of a customer, or any other details of an account to anyone. Ever.
(Obviously, this does not apply to relaying emergency signals to fire, police, or other emergency agencies in an actual alarm condition!)
Ask a cop or a fire fighter about us. We'll go by what they say about us.
It may seem incredible, but many alarm companies actually publish a printed list of happy, satisfied customers. The salesman will be only too happy to give you a copy! Ask them for their reference list, and see what happens.
If they pull one out of their briefcase, run for the hills!
Do you want your home on such a list?
If you were a burglar, and had them visit you under the false pretense of conducting a security survey, tell you all about how they design alarm systems, equipment capabilities, and so on---wouldn't you want that list? It has the names, addresses, and sometimes even the phone numbers of people who have put in a system exactly like what he just demonstrated!
The potential crook finds this especially desirable if the company favors installing simple-minded "perimeter only" alarms---doors and windows only. It's easy to get past such overly-simple, incompetant alarm systems, and defeat them. You only have to know in which houses they're installed.
At Alpha Security, we believe that giving out such a list is a serious violation of your privacy, and your security. | |
