| Ministry Teams and Leadership Ministry Teams work individually and together to provide programming, fellowship, opportunity, continuity, maintenance, planning and day to day functions of the church. The head of each ministry team along with the Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Council Chair, Vice Chair and chairman of the Elders make up the Church Council which is the governing body of the Church. Ministry Teams are open to anyone willing to serve. Team leaders are nominated by their teams and voted by the congregation. TEAMS Christian Education Ministry Team - To help facilitate staffing and curriculum for all educational aspects of GracePointe. VBS, Adult and childrens Sunday School classes, Youth Groups, Mission Trips, Wednesday Night Recharge. Facilities Ministry Team - To help be good stewards of the building and grounds of GracePointe. Work with other teams to allow them to work more efficiently through set up and tear down, lawn, cleaning, building usage and scheduling. Finance Ministry Team - To educate the congregation on the need for stewardship of time, talents and possessions. Budgeting, financials, bookkeeping. Group Fellowship Ministry Team - To facilitate events that allow for casual fellowship and form relationships. For example: Harvest Dinner, VBS, Valentines Dinner, Hanging of the Greens. |
