"Abstract Composition" 1996
Vine and press charcaol on 2'x4' drawing surface.

"..This piece very much illustrates my current direction in Fine Art.
I am very interested in the convergence of modern technologies and
cultural mythologies to make a specific statement. In a series of drawings like
this, classical figures (in this case, an african mask) are geometrically pulled
and abstracted as a metaphor for the cartesian coordinate space planes on
which the 3D space of computer art relies ."-Kevin
