"I have made thousands of these improvisational gesture drawings of both

the human figure and animals...simple spontaneous recordings of the delights

of form and motion. I yearn for these sketches to have a dance-like quality

and a linking rythym of line and form. During these sketches I am a slave to

the model...You will not hear me say "the model has moved," but tather I

will look for the movement and draw it conciously!"-Kevin
