"Aloha Bowl Logo" 1997
This animation was interesting in that it was actuallyan animation within
an animation. We first created the realistic island paradise environmentto
match exisiting 2D artwork and then composited onto the surface of the
medallion using a soft edged matte. Sparkles and flare effects were added
in Video Post. We used a frosted glass map as a background screen to go
with the existing Christmas theme and contrast with the sunny tropical
establishing shot.
