"When it comes to colouring hair, it takes several years of experience to truly have control of the art." Fredrick Fowler
Fredrick has been commissioned by three leading distributors of hair products to test and procure the rights to distribute a colour line for them.  He has taught colour and demonstrated at hair shows his unique approach to colouring hair. Fredrick started out at a very young age with a very keen interest in painting. His mother painted and was very artistic. Several relatives on both sides of the family painted some sculpted and from a very young age he used to watch people paint.

Fredrick studied colour theory and was under the tutelage of an art college instructor. One of his projects that he said made him a master with colour was taking an old master painting and dividing it into a grid and then having to mix all of the colours in the squares using just the primary colours, red yellow, and blue. After having spent six months mixing all of the colours in the tiny squares, he felt that he could take any colour and mix it from the primary colours. Having done advanced painting techniques and a few commissions, he went on to do photography, Semi professionally and then professionally. Studying sculpture and form in an art college, he thought that his final medium with which to sculpt, paint, and cut would be hair.

What a wonderful medium.

Fredrick smiles as he describes one of his extremely technical hair styles as doing kinetic art. His canvases are human, and they wear his art. Twenty five years of experience in hair styling, then teaching at beginner level and then advanced has given him an interest that last him a life time. Having studied with  North Americas top Wig stylist gave him a head start in doing medically related hair loss patients with the most up to date and totally natural looking styles. He says wigs and hair weaving, and any form of addition to ones own natural hair should be viewed as any other fashion accessory  It should be viewed as fine natural wearable art. He tells his clients when some one says to you my God your hair looks fabulous, is that all your own hair? Say Thanks. Yes. I love it! I Paid for it...there for, it is all mine!

All jokes aside, even family members have been known to say Wow I love the way that guy cut your hair.

And even family members think that it is a new hair style verses a wig or a hair weave. Or they have been known to say Oh you got your hair coloured. "Yes I did!", should be the reply. Anything more than that is way too much information.
