"The IBM/Bisk Interactive Campus"1997

The IBM/Bisk Campus-This is a birds eye view of the campus environment where
the employee training took place. In the front is the Administration building, surrounded
by several buildings where "virtual classes" could be taken. Usersvisited the Administration
building and were given "directions" to their classes in one ofthe buildings. Here you can
also see the courtyard were employees could chat with other office employeestaking the
tests and classes in other cities, thus adding to the authenticity of the"college" experience.

The Business Administration Building-This is one of the building interiors
where the employees could take classes on the business portion of the company.
The idea was to create an authentic college atmosphere by placing "guides"in every
building for your first day of classes. Your guide would be digitized overthis
environment and a display would allow you to choose your daily categoryand
"attend" your class session.

Interior of digitally created office/classroom-Here is an example of one of
the classroom/offices that a test would be given in. In this room, an actor
would be blue-screened in the room to administer the course work, information,
and finally, the test. The finely detailed renderings of this virtual environment
and interaction with the digitized "staff" proved to make theotherwise boring
experience of continued education an exciting game-styled event.
