Biographies

  Charles E. Groppe, CPA is the principal of the firm and has extensive experience in providing accounting, auditing, tax and management advisory services to tax exempt organizations. Mr. Groppe is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs. He has been a Board Member of the Westchester Chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs and has been liaison and past chairperson to the non-profit organizations committee. He has been a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants "Non-Profit Organizations" and "Exempt Organizations" Committees, and has served on the Subcommittee for Technical Issues. Mr. Groppe is a lecturer for the New York State Foundation for Accounting Education and has conducted many seminars and workshops concerning non-profit accounting, funding and auditing issues. Mr. Groppe has a Masters of Business Administration in Taxation from Pace University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting from Syracuse University.

  Samuel Alleyne is a senior accountant in the firm of Charles E. Groppe, CPA LLC. Mr. Alleyne is a graduate of Mercy College and has served as the firms chief liaison with the New York State Department of Education. Mr. Alleyne serves on the Accounting and Auditing Principles Committee of the Westchester Chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs.

  Tommy Chan is a staff account in the firm of Charles E. Groppe, CPA LLC. Mr. Chan is a graduate of Baruch College and is extremely knowledgeable about the preparation and the auditing of CFRs. Mr. Chan serves on the Taxation Committee of the Westchester Chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs.
